Arrival & Departure

Where is Gut Weissenhof located?

Gut Weissenhof is located in Radstadt in the province of Salzburg, approximately 70 kilometers south of the city of Salzburg. The resort is not located directly in the town center, but in a quiet location at the Radstadt golf course, nestled in nature with views of the surrounding mountains.

What time is check-in possible?

Check-in is possible from 2:30 PM on the day of arrival.

What time is check-out?

We kindly ask you to vacate your room by 11:30 AM at the latest on the day of departure.

Late check-out without a room

If you would like to end your day in a relaxed manner, a late check-out without a room is possible. In this case, you can use our wellness and spa area, including the changing room with lockable lockers, until 5:00 PM and enjoy our lunch and afternoon snack.

The price is €35.00 per person; children up to 12 years old pay €24.00 per child.

Late check-out with a room

Subject to room availability, you may remain in your room until 5:00 PM, use our wellness and spa area, and enjoy our lunch and afternoon snack.

The price is €180 per room.

Is there parking directly at the hotel?

At Gut Weissenhof, there are sufficient parking facilities available directly at the estate. Additionally, there is a private parking garage with free parking spaces directly on the grounds, subject to availability.

Is an earlier arrival or later departure possible?

Earlier arrival or later departure is possible subject to availability and for an additional fee. Please let us know your request in advance; we will be happy to try and find a suitable solution for you.

Breakfast on the day of arrival
You are welcome to enjoy our breakfast on your day of arrival. Price: €29.00 per person. We kindly request advance notice.

Late check-out without a room
For €35.00 per person, you can use our wellness and spa area until 5:00 PM and enjoy our lunch and afternoon snack.
Children up to 12 years old pay €24.00 per child.

Late check-out with a room

For €180 per room, you can remain in your room until 5:00 PM (subject to availability), use our wellness and spa area, and enjoy our lunch and afternoon snack.

What are the travel options?

Gut Weissenhof in Radstadt can be reached by car, train, or plane.

By car
Via the A10 Tauern motorway, take the Altenmarkt exit and follow the signs toward Radstadt. From there, the Radstadt golf course and Gut Weissenhof are well-signposted and can be reached in a few minutes.

By train
Radstadt railway station is located only about 1 kilometer from the hotel. We are happy to organize a transfer from the station upon request.

By plane
The nearest airport is Salzburg W. A. Mozart. From there, you can reach Gut Weissenhof in about one hour by car or taxi. We are happy to organize a taxi shuttle service at a special price.

Starting May 2025, all guests will automatically receive the Guest Mobility Ticket upon arrival. This allows you to use all public transport in the province of Salzburg free of charge during your stay.

Are there e-charging stations at the hotel?

For electric and hybrid vehicles, dedicated charging stations are available in the parking garage at Gut Weissenhof. These can be used for a fee.

Additionally, public fast-charging stations are located a short distance away, which can be used with common charging apps or cards.

Rooms & Stay

Are dogs allowed?

Dogs are very welcome here. We are happy to inform you in advance about the corresponding areas in the house as well as the surcharge of €45 per night/dog. Please let us know when booking if you are traveling with a dog.

Are allergy-friendly rooms available?

Upon request, we are happy to provide an allergy-friendly room. Please inform us of any special needs at the time of booking so that we can prepare for your stay as best as possible.

Is there an elevator?

Yes, there is an elevator in each of our three hotel buildings, so you can easily reach the different floors.

Is Wi-Fi available throughout the house?

Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the entire hotel area.

How does the Green Option room cleaning work?

With our Green Option, you have the opportunity to waive daily room cleaning on desired days. If you hang the green ribbon on your room door, our housekeeping team knows that no cleaning is requested for that day. In this way, we contribute together to the conservation of resources.

Are bathrobes, slippers, and spa bags provided in the room?

For your stay, you will find bathrobes, slippers, and a spa bag for the spa area in your room. This allows you to enjoy your wellness day in complete relaxation.

Dining

Which meals are included?

During your stay at Gut Weissenhof, you will enjoy our indulgence board. This includes a rich breakfast buffet, a lunch and afternoon snack, and a 6-course dinner menu with choices.

Are there vegetarian or vegan options?

Yes, of course, we offer vegetarian dishes daily. We are also happy to prepare vegan meals for you upon request. Please let us know your wishes before your arrival so that we can accommodate them as best as possible.

Are intolerances taken into account?

We are happy to take intolerances and special dietary needs into account. Please inform us in good time before your arrival so that our kitchen team can prepare accordingly.

Is there a bar or sun terrace?

Yes, at Gut Weissenhof, a cozy hotel bar awaits you, as well as our sun terrace at hole 9 with a view of the golf course. Whether it’s coffee in the afternoon or a drink in the evening, this is the perfect place to end the day in a relaxed way.

Is there a special children’s menu?

Yes, for our younger guests, we offer a daily changing children’s menu in the evening. The dishes are age-appropriate, varied, and oriented toward children’s tastes.

We are also happy to take special requests or intolerances into account here; please just let us know.

Wellness & Spa

What are the opening hours of the spa area?

Our wellness area is open daily from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM. The sauna area is available to you from  2:30 PM to 8:00 PM. Upon request, we are also happy to turn on the saunas in the morning.

Which pools are available?

Our year-round heated outdoor pool measures 11 × 5 meters with a depth of 1.4 meters.
The heated indoor pool with a counter-current system offers plenty of space for swimming at 12 × 6 meters and a depth of 1.4 meters.

Additionally, a children’s pool and a whirlpool are available for relaxation.

Where do beauty treatments take place and how can I book them?

Massages and beauty treatments can be enjoyed in our in-house spa area. Appointments can be reserved directly at the hotel reception or preferably before your arrival. We recommend booking early so that we can accommodate your preferred time.

Can the wellness area also be used before check-in or after check-out?

You are welcome to use our wellness area before your room is ready. A late check-out with or without a room is also possible on the day of departure. This allows you to use the spa area, including the changing room with lockable lockers, until 5:00 PM. Details and prices can be found in our FAQ under Arrival and Departure.

From what age is the wellness area accessible?

Our heated indoor & outdoor pool, laconium, and the lounging areas around the pools are open to guests of all ages.

Saunas and relaxation areas are available for guests aged 16 and over.

Are bathrobes available for adults and children?

You will find bathrobes in your room for the duration of your stay. Suitable sizes are also available for our younger guests.

Are external guests allowed?

The wellness area is available exclusively to our hotel guests.

Golf

Is the golf course located directly at the hotel?

Yes, Gut Weissenhof is located directly at the Radstadt golf course at hole 9 of the 18-hole championship course. The first tee is just a few steps away from the hotel.

What advantages do golf guests have at Gut Weissenhof?

As a founding hotel of GC Radstadt, our guests benefit from discounted green fees at the Radstadt golf course as well as at all partner golf courses. We also offer our guests two different golf memberships at the Radstadt Golf Club.

How do I reserve my tee time?

As a guest at Gut Weissenhof, you benefit from preferred tee times at the Radstadt golf course.

You can reserve your start times on-site at our hotel reception or in advance. We are also happy to book tee times for you at the surrounding partner golf courses.

What is the Birdie Jet?

The Birdie Jet is a globally unique golf gondola lift that takes you and your golf bag to tee 12. From there, you tee off onto the fairway of hole 13, which lies about 100 meters below—an unforgettable experience with a view.

Can beginners also play golf?

Yes, golf here is also perfectly suited for beginners. You are very welcome at the Radstadt golf course even without prior experience. The 9-hole academy course is ideal for getting started in golf, and we are happy to assist you in selecting and booking the right golf course offer or instructor sessions.

Are there golf courses for children?

Yes, we also offer suitable golf options for children. Age-appropriate courses and training sessions allow for a playful introduction. You can obtain details at the Gut Weissenhof reception.

Are dogs allowed on the Radstadt golf course?

Dogs are allowed on the Radstadt golf course, provided they are kept on a leash and consideration is shown to other golfers.

Is it possible to rent golf equipment?

Yes, golf equipment can be rented at the Radstadt golf course. Golf bags and a small set of golf clubs are also available directly at Gut Weissenhof. We are happy to inform you on-site about the available rental clubs and options.

Can one purchase a guest membership?

Yes, at the Radstadt golf course, there is the possibility to purchase a Gut Weissenhof guest membership.

We are happy to provide information about this at our reception or directly at the golf club secretariat.

Where can I book golf courses or pro sessions?

We are happy to reserve golf courses for you in advance or directly at our hotel reception.
Pro sessions can be booked on-site with us at Gut Weissenhof or at the Radstadt Golf Club.

Is there a joint golf day at Gut Weissenhof?

Yes, a joint golf day with Seppi takes place regularly. Games are played on various golf courses in the area, such as GC Schladming-Dachstein, GC Lungau, GC Schloss Pichlarn, and GLC Ennstal. Information on dates and registration is available at our reception at Gut Weissenhof.

Is there a covered driving range?

Yes, there is a covered driving range at the Radstadt golf course, so golf training is possible regardless of the weather.

Horse Riding

Is the Gut Weissenhof riding facility located directly on the hotel grounds?

Yes, Gut Weissenhof has its own riding facility with a riding hall and outdoor area directly on the hotel grounds.

Are there riding offers for beginners and advanced riders?

Yes, we offer lessons for children, teenagers, and adults, from the first contact with the horse to an advanced level.

From what age can children ride?

Children can gain their first experiences with pony riding at a young age.

For children, there are dedicated, age-appropriately structured riding lessons as well as special multi-day riding courses.

For health reasons, we recommend intensive lessons only from about 7 years of age, as left-right coordination and the spine are not yet sufficiently developed.

We would be happy to advise you personally on which riding offer is suitable for your child.

Are there children’s riding courses at Gut Weissenhof?

Yes, we offer dedicated riding courses for children that are age-appropriately structured and provide a playful introduction to handling horses.

Our children’s courses include Weissenhof Rocking Horse, Weissenhof Hobby Horse, and Weissenhof Horseshoe. In these courses, children learn step-by-step how to handle horses safely and gain their first riding experiences.

Can adults also ride at Gut Weissenhof?

Yes, we offer riding lessons for adults at Gut Weissenhof, for both beginners and experienced riders.

Should riding lessons be booked in advance?

In principle, riding lessons can be reserved on-site or in advance.

If you are riding with us for the first time, we recommend booking directly on-site. This allows our riding instructors to individually select the right horse and the appropriate lesson for you.

This ensures that you receive the best possible care.

Are there also trail rides or special courses?

Depending on the season, we offer various riding programs, courses, and guided sessions. We are happy to inform you about the current offers on our riding page.

What equipment do I need for riding?

For riding lessons at Gut Weissenhof, we recommend wearing long trousers—even in summer—as well as sturdy, ankle-high footwear. Sandals, Crocs, or flip-flops are not suitable for safety reasons. If you have long hair, we ask that you tie it in a braid.

Riding helmets and protective vests can be borrowed directly from our stables. For safety reasons, riding lessons cannot take place in short trousers.

Are there fixed rest days in the riding stable?

Sunday is our rest day in the riding stable. No riding lessons take place on this day.

When should I be at the stable before my riding lesson?

We ask you to be at the stable approximately 20 minutes before the start of your riding lesson. This allows enough time for preparation and coordination with our riding instructors.

Is there a weight limit for riding?

For the well-being of our horses, a weight limit of 95 kg applies to all riding activities.

We ask for your understanding that we adhere to this guideline in the interest of animal health.

How do you feed horses correctly?

Horses should generally only be fed with permission and under guidance. It is important to offer the food with a flat hand so that the horse can take it safely.

Please feed our horses at Gut Weissenhof only with suitable feed and after consultation with our riding instructors.

How do I approach a horse correctly?

Approach a horse calmly and preferably from the front or slightly from the side so that it can see you. Avoid hectic movements and speak to the horse briefly.

Our riding instructors will be happy to show you the correct way to handle the horses on-site.

Are there hiking trails directly from Gut Weissenhof?

Yes, many hikes can be started directly from Gut Weissenhof. Around Radstadt, numerous paths lead through forests, across alpine meadows, and to beautiful viewpoints in the Salzburg mountains. Hiking maps are available at the Gut Weissenhof reception.

Are guided hikes offered?

Yes, at Gut Weissenhof, we offer a guided house hike every week in summer. Together with Erich, you head out into the mountains around Radstadt. You will learn exciting things about nature, the region, and tradition while enjoying impressive views.

Is there an indoor tennis court at Gut Weissenhof?

Yes, Gut Weissenhof has its own indoor tennis court with high-quality ConiRace flooring. This makes tennis possible year-round and regardless of the weather.

We are happy to reserve your preferred time in advance or directly at the hotel reception.

Can tennis rackets be rented at the hotel?

Yes, tennis rackets and balls can be rented at Gut Weissenhof; of course, you are also welcome to bring your own equipment.

Can a tennis coach be booked?

Yes, tennis training can be organized upon request. Our reception will be happy to help you book a tennis coach.

Is cycling or mountain biking possible in the area?

Yes, around Gut Weissenhof, there are many cycling and mountain bike routes for various difficulty levels. The region is ideal for leisurely bike rides as well as sporty tours in the mountains.

Cycling and mountain bike maps are available at our reception at Gut Weissenhof.

Can bicycles or e-bikes be rented?

A small selection of bicycles is available to our guests at Gut Weissenhof.

A larger selection of bicycles, e-bikes, or mountain bikes can be found at the nearby Intersport Bachler for a fee.

Can I book a bike guide?

Yes, upon request, we are happy to organize a bike guide for guided tours in the region.

Is there a bike park in the area?

Yes, the Schladming Bike Park is only about 20 minutes from Gut Weissenhof and offers varied trails for beginners and experienced bikers.

Is there a high ropes course nearby?

Yes, around Gut Weissenhof in Radstadt, there are several high ropes courses with varied circuits in different difficulty levels.

What can you do in winter around Gut Weissenhof?

Around Radstadt, many winter experiences await you, such as skiing and snowboarding in the Ski amadé, cross-country skiing, winter hiking, ski touring, or tobogganing. Our reception will be happy to give you personal tips for your winter day.

Is Gut Weissenhof located in the Ski amadé?

Yes, Radstadt is part of Ski amadé, one of the largest ski associations in Austria. From here, you can reach numerous ski areas in the region comfortably in a short time.

The Radstadt-Altenmarkt ski area is located just a few minutes from Gut Weissenhof and offers direct access to the winter world of Ski amadé.

Is there a shuttle from the hotel to the ski lift?

Yes, our hotel shuttle takes you comfortably and free of charge from Gut Weissenhof to the Radstadt-Altenmarkt ski circuit and back. You are also welcome to ski directly back to the hotel across a field.

Where are skis and ski boots stored in the hotel?

At Gut Weissenhof, a ski room with ski boot dryers is available, where your equipment can be stored safely and warmly.

Where can I buy ski passes?

Ski passes are available directly at the valley station of the Radstadt-Altenmarkt ski circuit, which is only a few minutes from Gut Weissenhof.

Is tobogganing possible in Radstadt?

Yes, in Radstadt, there is a 6 km long illuminated toboggan run directly at the Radstadt-Altenmarkt ski circuit, and on the Altenmarkt side of the ski area, you will find the Bifei natural toboggan run.

Is cross-country skiing possible at Gut Weissenhof?

Yes, the Tauern trail passes directly by Gut Weissenhof and is groomed for both classic technique and skating; it can be used free of charge.

Cross-country skiing instructor sessions can be booked upon request at the Gut Weissenhof reception.

Is there a snow-sure high-altitude trail nearby?

Yes, in the vicinity of Gut Weissenhof, there are several high-altitude trails, including the Gnadenalm trail and the Rossbrand trail.

Ski courses can be booked directly with the Radstadt Ski School or the Greenorange Ski School. You can find more information here.

Are there children’s ski courses in Radstadt?

Yes, both the Radstadt Ski School and the Greenorange Ski School offer special children’s ski courses. Children learn their first turns in the snow playfully and gain their first experiences on skis.

Where can I rent toboggans and sleds?

Toboggans for the toboggan run in Radstadt can be rented directly at the valley station of the Radstadt-Altenmarkt ski circuit. Sleds with backrests for winter walks are available directly at our hotel.

Can horse-drawn sleigh rides be booked?

Yes, horse-drawn sleigh rides are offered in Filzmoos as well as on the Gnadenalm near Obertauern. We are happy to organize an appointment for you at our reception.

Can I go ski touring starting from Gut Weissenhof?

Yes, there is a dedicated ski touring route at the Radstadt-Altenmarkt ski circuit. Our hotel shuttle takes you comfortably to the valley station, and you can start your ski tour directly from there. Numerous ski touring opportunities for beautiful tours can also be found in the Radstädter Tauern, very close to Gut Weissenhof.

Yoga & Fitness

Is yoga available at Gut Weissenhof?

Yes, Hatha yoga sessions are offered regularly at Gut Weissenhof. The focus is on relaxation, flexibility, and conscious breathing.

Can I do yoga as a beginner?

Yes, our yoga sessions are suitable for both beginners and advanced practitioners. Everyone can participate at their own pace.

Is registration required for yoga?

Yes, Hatha yoga sessions take place once a week and alternate between morning yoga and evening yoga. Registration is required by 6:00 PM the day before at the latest. Current dates are available at our reception.

Is yoga equipment provided?

Yes, yoga mats, straps, blankets, and yoga blocks are available for the yoga sessions. Of course, you are also welcome to bring your own yoga equipment.

Is there a fitness room in the hotel?

Yes, a light-flooded fitness room is available to you at Gut Weissenhof. Here you can train individually with cardio and strength equipment and flexibly integrate your personal workout into your holiday.

Can a fitness trainer be booked?

Yes, upon request, we are happy to organize a fitness trainer for individual training. Our reception will be happy to help you schedule an appointment.

Families & Children

Is there a playroom?

Yes, a lovingly designed playroom is available for our younger guests. Here, children can play, discover, and make new friends.

From what age can children ride?

For the youngest, we offer pony riding—ideal for first encounters with horses.
For children, there are dedicated, age-appropriately structured riding lessons as well as special children’s courses.

For health reasons, we recommend intensive riding lessons only from about 7 years of age, as coordination and the spine are still developing before then.

Is baby equipment available?

For families with babies, we are happy to provide equipment such as a crib, high chair, baby monitor, changing mat, or baby bathtub. Please let us know your requirements when booking.

Is there a farm at Gut Weissenhof?

Yes, farm life is part of the experience at Gut Weissenhof. Children can experience horses and ponies in the riding stable as well as other farm animals on the grounds up close. There is plenty of space around the farm for discovery and movement.

Is childcare available?

Yes, we offer childcare with a varied program. Details on times and offers can be found here.

Is baby care offered?

Yes, we offer care for our youngest guests. Please register your desired care times bindingly in advance. Baby care is possible for two to three hours. We are happy to organize longer care upon request for an additional fee.

Booking & Cancellation

What are the cancellation terms?

The general cancellation terms of the Austrian hotel industry apply.
Free cancellation is possible up to one month before arrival.
From one month to one week before arrival, we charge 70% of the package price.
In the last week before arrival, 90% is charged.
In case of a no-show, 100% of the total price will be charged.

In the event of a cancellation, we will convert your deposit into a value voucher that is valid for 30 years and can be redeemed for a new preferred date. Upon express request, we will be happy to refund your deposit. A processing fee of €40 will be retained.

If we are able to re-let the room you cancelled, we will send you a voucher for the amount of the cancellation fee you paid for your next stay with us at Gut Weissenhof.

Is a deposit required?

No, a deposit is not required, but it is possible upon request. We are available at any time if you have questions regarding this.

Which payment methods are accepted?

You can settle your bill in cash, with an EC card, Visa, or MasterCard. Advance bank transfer is also possible.

Is travel insurance available?

Are gift vouchers available from Gut Weissenhof?

Yes, we are happy to issue a personal voucher according to your wishes. Whether for a holiday, a break, or a special occasion, we will prepare your voucher individually for you.

Can I return a voucher?

Please return vouchers that do not meet your expectations to us within 14 days of receipt. It is sufficient if the written notice of withdrawal or revocation is sent within 14 days. However, you cannot exercise the right of withdrawal if the use of the service has already begun within the withdrawal period. This right of withdrawal exists for customers who are consumers within the meaning of the Consumer Protection Act.  

Can gifts for special occasions such as birthdays be organized?

We are happy to assist you with small surprises such as birthday cakes, bouquets of flowers, or other tokens of attention.

A service fee of €11.00 applies for organization and collection.

How much is the overnight stay tax?

The overnight stay tax is €1.90 per person per night.
The tax is mandatory from the 15th birthday; children up to and including 14 years of age are exempt.

Registration number according to the Overnight Stay Tax Act: 50417-000034-2020

What is the mobility tax?

In addition to the overnight stay tax, a mobility tax of €0.50 per person per night will apply starting May 1, 2025. Here too, persons from their 15th birthday are liable for the tax; children up to 14 years are free.

With this tax, you receive the Guest Mobility Ticket and can use all public transport throughout the province of Salzburg free of charge during your stay.
