From Farm to Hotel
An estate with history
Gut Weissenhof is more than a hotel. It is a place that has grown over generations and is sustained by people who continue to lead it with heart. Between agriculture, nature, and hospitality, a place has been created here where guests feel welcome and enjoy returning.
How it all began

The history of Gut Weissenhof dates back many centuries. The estate was mentioned as early as the Middle Ages. The name “Weissenhof” goes back to an early owner and literally means “The White One’s Estate“.
Gut Weissenhof has been owned by our family since 1807. For many decades, the estate was run as a farm and was a significant part of regional life.
In the following generations, the Weissenhof evolved steadily. The agricultural operation remained an important component, while at the same time, a place where guests were also welcome was created step by step. In 1974, a guesthouse was built next to the farmhouse, where guests could stay overnight for the first time.
In the following years, the Weissenhof was continuously expanded. An indoor pool, the tennis hall, and later the Radstadt golf course as well as the riding facilities expanded the offering and turned the estate into a special holiday destination in the Salzburg region.

Host Family
At Gut Weissenhof, hospitality is lived as a family. Since 1991, Josef and Regina have managed the hotel together and, with great commitment and foresight, have developed the estate into what it is today. With Katharina and Theresa, the next generation is now also part of the family business. Together, we ensure that our guests feel welcome and well taken care of.

Seppi
Seppi took over the estate from his parents and, together with Regina, has continued to develop it over many years. With great passion and foresight, he has implemented numerous ideas that have shaped Gut Weissenhof, from the golf course and the riding facilities to the staff house. Renewable energy and sustainable developments around the estate are also close to his heart. Guests often meet him personally in the house, on the farm, or during the weekly joint golf day.

Regina
Regina is the soul of the house. Since 1991, the reception has been the place where you can find her. From there, she fulfills the wishes of her guests, has an open ear for her employees, and, as a great family person, stands by all her loved ones. Together with her daughter Theresa and her team, she designs many areas of marketing. When renovations are due in the hotel, her creativity flows into every room down to the last detail, and you can not only see that, but it is exactly what gives the guest the feeling “I am at home here“.

Katharina
Katharina, the elder daughter, studied economics and law and completed training as a young entrepreneur. She organizes many processes in the background, supports the team, and is growing step by step into her role in the family business. As a mother of two children, she combines family and business and helps shape the future of Gut Weissenhof.

Theresa
Daughter Theresa brings many creative ideas to the business. She studied graphic design and now designs photos, the website, social media, and all printed materials for Gut Weissenhof. Together with Regina, she also creates many design details in the house and constantly comes up with new ideas for the overall image of Gut Weissenhof.
