The Tauernloipe is one of the central cross-country skiing routes in the Salzburg region and passes directly by the cross-country skiing hotel Gut Weissenhof. It connects Radstadt with Altenmarkt, Flachau, Wagrain, and Eben; it is groomed for both classic technique and skating and can be used free of charge.
At the same time, the Tauernloipe is part of the approximately 260-kilometer interconnected trail network around Radstadt. This extensive network offers numerous connection possibilities, different levels of difficulty, and flexibly plannable daily loops. The trails are regularly groomed, well-signposted, and allow for varied routes through valleys and sunny sections of the region, passing by rest and refreshment stops.

The Mandlingloipe starts directly at Gut Weissenhof and is approximately 19.2 kilometers long. It runs at about 850 meters above sea level through slightly hilly terrain with around 285 evenly distributed meters of elevation gain and is particularly suitable for beginners. Connections are available to the local trails in Mandling and Radstadt as well as the Ennstalloipe. The route is groomed for classic technique and skating.
The high-altitude trail on the Gnadenalm is located at over 1,300 meters above sea level and is considered particularly snow-sure. Around 20 kilometers of trails are available here, groomed for classic and skating. Due to its location and regular grooming, it offers reliable conditions throughout the entire winter season. A practice area for the cross-country skiing school is located directly on-site.
The high-altitude trail on the Rossbrand runs at around 1,600 meters above sea level and offers an approximately 12-kilometer route with a wide panoramic view. The ascent to the trail is via the Papagenobahn in Filzmoos. The route is suitable for both classic technique and skating and impresses with its open location and snow-sure conditions.
Upon request, we can organize cross-country skiing training for you. This is offered by the Greenorange ski school, the Flying Coach, and the Gnadenalm cross-country skiing school.
