| 1. Taurachtal bike path to Untertauern |
|
The Taurachtal bike path begins at Gut Weissenhof in Radstadt and ends in Untertauern at the recreational park.
The bike path to Taurachtal begins at Gut Weissenhof. Then we take the small street between the golf course to the Kaspardörfl. We go along the main road to the Gottschal and turn left to Gasthof Walchhof. After a few small gains, the path drops to the Taurachbrücke bridge for a change of pace. The newly graveled bike path leads along the romantic Taurach to the Weningerbrücke bridge. There we change to the other side of the river and follow the signs to the Untertauern wildlife park. We have to cover another 200 vertical m until we reach our destination. The return trip follows the same path without considerable effort, because now it is mainly downhill .

| 3. Enns Bike Path |
|
A Highlight for casual cyclists.
The Enns originates in Salzburg in Pongau near the tunnel through the Radstadt Tauern and flows through Schladming, past Liezen to the Gesäuse, and from there through the upper Austrian Ennstal to the Phyrn-Eisenwurzen region and Steyr. From here the Enns forms the borders between upper and lower Austria. Shortly after the town of Enns near Mauthausen on the Donau.
The Enns bike path follows the course of this river over ca. 250 km and includes an elevation difference of over 900 m. Traveling downriver is recommended so that the 900 m elevation change is downhill rather than uphill.
The starting point is at Gut Weissenhof in Radstadt – in the direction of Mandling. Here we cross the border to Styria. Via Schladming and Irdning we reach Liezen and then Admont, where you choose either the path over the Buchauer Sattel or the one through the Gesäuse. In Altenmarkt the two variations meet. Again, you can choose between two options here: either through the Reichraminger Hintergebirge or further along the Enns via Weyer and Großraming (loop via Lausa is possible) to Reichraming. The next stations are Losenstein, Ternberg, and Garten. In Steyr you can choose either of the banks of the Enns. Both on the Upper and Lower Austrian sides, you reach Enns, the end point. From here, you can continue to ride on the Danube bike path .

| 4. The Tauern Bike Path: |
|
St. Johann with its imposing "Pongau Cathedral" is the starting point of one of the most appealing bike tours in Europe. It runs on flat to slightly hilly paths, almost traffic-free along the Salzach via Werfen with its World of Ice Giants and the Hohenwerfen castle, past the romantic Golling waterfall in the old Celtic and salt mining town of Hallein, and finally to the festival city of Salzburg. From here, the path continues along the Bavarian section of the Saalach in the direction of Lofer and Zell am See with an opportunity to go around the Zeller See. The variant via Krimml is worthwhile if only because of the famous Krimml waterfalls. Finally, the tour leads back via Schwarzach to St. Johann with picturesque Liechtenstein gorge.
