VACATION WITH YOUR OWN HORSE

Would you like to bring your own horse along on your vacation?

During your summer vacation at Gut Weissenhof you have the opportunity to stable your horse for free per fully-paid double room.
Guest horse stalls including food and bedding will be taken care of by us. For each additional horse you bring, we charge € 20/day.

Here is some information about our riding facility:

Our stalls are ca. 3.5 m x 3.5 m, spread with wood shavings, our horses are fed 3 x a day with concentrated feed (pellets, also oats if necessary) and 2 x a day fed with hay
We will also conscientiously dispense any additional fodder you happen to bring along
In good weather there are 3 large paddocks, in the rain there is a “mud paddock”
(which can be used by arrangement with the stable team) .
Riding options:
- indoor arena 20 m x 60 m with wood chip/sand surface
- outdoor arena 20 m x 40 m with wood chip/sand surface
- outdoor arena 40 m x 80 m with sand surface
- located next to a network of bridle paths
Use of the indoor arena is possible anytime (also during school operation times in compliance with the rules of the riding arena)

It’s also possible to take part in our riding lessons with your own horse (with registration)

Group lesson with your own horse EUR 11
Jumping lesson in a group with your own horse EUR 11
Private dressage lesson EUR 20
Private jumping lesson EUR 20

In general, we have daily trail rides, and we would love for you to come join us.

Regulations for importing horses to Austria from all EU countries:
For the transport of horses, it is necessary to bring along a pass for your horse (which is issued by each respective national equestrian association). If your destination is across borders and the stay is longer than 3 days, an additional, official veterinary certificate must be provided.
(However, practice has shown that a pass alone is sufficient.)

We hope to have answered most questions with this information and we are looking forward to welcoming you and your horse!

PS: If you have anymore questions, please contact our riding instructors Sepp and Marinda directly! Tel.: 0664/5410745.
