The Tauernloipe trail is 50 km long and connects all towns in the region. A total of 220 km of groomed trails are awaiting you.

Towns located on this trail such as Radstadt, Altenmarkt, Reitdorf, Flachau, Eben, Wagrain have made great efforts to ensure a special cross-country skiing experience.

The Tauernloipe trail leads through easy, varied terrain. You have the opportunity to access the trail from every town, and depending on your fitness level and technique, you can choose the individual stage that most interests you.

Starting point: by car from Gut Weissenhof take the first exit on the traffic circle in the direction of Obertauern, at the Gnadenbrücke bridge (between Unter and Obertauern) you will go on a narrow street to the Vordergnadenalm, ca. 8 min. away by car. 10 km

Great snow conditions at an elevation of over 1300m, wind-protected, and dreamy scenery. Over 20km of the cross-country trails on the Gnadenalm are groomed. A perfect trail is guaranteed with mostly ideal snow conditions. The 20 km long trail with all levels of difficulty is a secret tip! With the most favorable northwest location and an elevation of 1350m the Gnadenalm high-altitude trail boasts some of the best snow conditions in the Alps. Snow machines ensure an additional guarantee of snow. With ca. 20 km of groomed classic and skating trails and a variety of tours, the trails in Obertauern offer just the right thing for every cross-country skier. These also lead past our own alpine hut, the Hintergnadenalm. At the cross-country ski school, there is a practice area.

You are especially welcome to relax on our sunny benches at our Hintergnadenalm and enjoy the wonderful winter scenery. The hut is staffed in the summer, and our hut host will bring you a rustic snack as well as homemade butter and bread and homemade schnapps. You will find plenty of parking at the entrance to the trail, and you will also find a ski bus stop here. On the Gnadenalm our highest priority is placed on perfectly groomed trails. To have a truly great time with cross-country skiing, it's very important to keep trails in top condition. Here in Obertauern you can count on the best trails. The cross-country trail in Obertauern on the Gnadenalm is available to all guests and locals for free.

Starting point: from Gut Weissenhof take the third exit on the traffic circle in the direction of Salzburg – Tauern autobahn, after ca. 4 km take the Eben exit, go as far as the crossing then go straight in the direction of Filzmoos, the Papagenobahn lift is right in town. ca. 10 min. away by car. 15 km

The all-around visibility at an elevation of 1,600 m is an indescribably beautiful experience. Take the Papagenobahn lift up to the Rossbrand and to the high-altitude trail. The panorama will delight all cross-country skiers at Gut Weissenhof . Scandinavian conditions - only that much better. The cross-country trail has a length of 12 km and allows for cross-country skiing in classic or skating style.
